Welcome to the "Research 101" guide!

This guide will introduce you to the basics of doing research for school assignments using sources from the library and elsewhere, including how to:

• Understand and use different types of research materials.
• Do background research to learn about your topic and get ideas.
• Find articles for a course assignment in library databases.
• Cite sources correctly, giving credit to where you found the information.
