In early 2015, the STCC Library collaborated with the Digital Commonwealth (DC) to digitize the College's yearbooks. The DC is a non-profit collaborative organization that provides resources and services to support the creation, management and dissemination of cultural heritage materials held by Massachusetts libraries, museums, historical societies, and archives. The DC currently collaborates with over 130 member institutions from across the state. The DC website provides access to thousands of images, documents, and sound recordings that have been digitized by member institutions so that they may be accessible online to researchers, students, and the general public.
STCC Library's digitized collection provides online access to the entire contents of the printed copies of STCC yearbooks dating from 1965 (Springfield Technical Institute) to 1981. A set of the original, printed yearbooks are held in the STCC Library Archives and are available for consultation by appointment or during the Library's opening hours.
