Accessing the Databases

When accessing the databases from home or off campus, you will be prompted to sign in.

When prompted to sign in:

Library Card # - the barcode number on the back of your RamCard

Password - hold the SHIFT key and enter your last name

If you have trouble signing in, you may need to register your RamCard at the STCC Library's Circulation Desk.

Provides access to the full text of dentistry, nursing and allied health journals, plus a variety of personal health information sources. The material contained in this database is intended for informational purposes only.


MEDLINE (created by the National Library of Medicine) provides information on dentistry, nursing, medicine, veterinary medicine, the health care system and more. Search many journal articles, some with linked full text.

Academic OneFile

Includes a number of dentistry journals, some with full text. In addition, Onefile covers topics such as the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects.
