The Big E has a number of scholarships for Western Massachusetts students who participated in the Eastern States Exposition youth programs. June deadline.

Two $1,000 scholarships annually to students from Western Massachusetts who have a disability or are pursuing a career dedicated to serving persons with disabilities. March 31st deadline.

Scholarships for graduates of Hampden County secondary schools including high school seniors, students already in college and graduate students. March deadline.

Scholarships from the Springfield Council of Jewish Women Scholarship Fund are awarded without regard to race, religion or gender. In addition, Common Fund Scholarships are available to Jewish students living in the Pioneer Valley. April deadline.

Three $2000 scholarships to local Puerto Rican students who are making a difference in their community. High school seniors and college freshmen, sophomores and juniors can apply. February deadline.

Offers 3 scholarships for undergraduate students of Polish heritage. May 1st deadline.

Annual scholarship to Hampden County, MA high school seniors and undergraduate and graduate students majoring in horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, environmental control, land management or other allied fields. March deadline.

Forty $2,500 scholarship for tuition. Open to all high school seniors, current college students or adults who are pursuing an undergraduate degree from an accredited, non-profit college or technical school. Jan. 31st application deadline.

Awards scholarships to academically outstanding students who have permanent residence or attend school in Central or Western Mass., Norfolk County, Mass., or Conn. Online application open Nov. 1st-Feb.1st.

For MA residents enrolled in an early childhood education program who are also employed for at least 1 year as and educator/provider in an early childhood program.

Awards up to six $1,000 scholarships to students transferring from a NETA affiliated 2-year institution (which STCC is) to a NETA affiliated 4-year institution. April deadline.

A scholarship for permanent residents of New England states who demonstrate academic excellence, seriousness of purpose, good citizenship and character, a strong work ethic and who meet our financial-need requirements.

MassCIS provides occupational and educational information to help people make better-informed career and school choices. "Explore Ways to Pay for College" lets you create a list of scholarships and grants based on your answers to questions about your educational plans, abilities, and background.

Offers the U.Plan Prepaid Tuition Program, U.Fund College Investing Plan, Undergraduate Loans, Graduate Loans, and an Education Refinancing Loan. Also explains the MassTransfer benefits when transferring from STCC to a MA public college or university.

The New England Regional Student Program (RSP), enables New England residents to enroll at out-of-state New England public colleges and universities at a discount. Students are eligible for the RSP Tuition Break when they enroll in an approved major that is not offered by the public colleges and universities in their home-state. $8,200 average savings.
