This guide will help you learn about the library.  You will learn some important library terms. You will also find some helpful tools so you can find information for papers and other assignments.


Databases on campus and from home

Some suggested databases to use for your research. The first link makes these databases available from campus. Use the second link from home or off-campus, logging in with your STCC library bar code number. Remember to update that number every September, and in June if you need summer access.

Issues and Controversies: (On Campus | Off Campus) Statistics, points of view and specially written materials.

Academic OneFile (On Campus | Off Campus) gives access to millions of peer-reviewed articles as well as trade publications.

General OneFile (On Campus | Off Campus) gives access to millions of full text articles from popular and trade publications.

Masterfile Premier (On Campus | Off Campus) gives access to millions of full text articles from multiple perspectives.
